Located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, the West End Ave residence is a super-easy commute from anywhere in the city. Choose from our newly renovated fully-furnished, single and double-bed private studios.

Every studio includes a kitchenette equipped with a sink, stove top, refrigerator and a private bathroom. The residence has a 24 hour security desk and offers a large roof terrace and student lounge. Free high-speed WIFI is accessible throughout the building. Students attending Columbia University, Fordham Law School, FIT and NYIT are among those who call the West End Ave residence home.

West End Ave FAQ

We can tentatively hold your reservation and apartment with a non refundable $300 deposit. The deposit will count towards your first invoice payment.  This deposit is non refundable if you cancel. The remaining balance on the first invoice must be paid before you move in.

It will take up to 3 days to process your online application. Sometimes we can process your application in less time but we cannot guarantee this.

Move-In time is after 11:00 AM. Check-Out time can be anytime during your scheduled move out day.  You will be asked to schedule move-in and move out dates and times.   Exceptions may be made. For example, if your flight arrives early, we might be able to make exceptions or possibly store your luggage until your room / apartment is available.

Absolutely! First inquire about availability for the dates you need housing for.  Each location’s webpage has an inquiry form at the bottom.  We will send you a confirmation email verifying availability for your dates and provide you an opportunity to schedule a visit to our location(s)

Yes, all of our apartments are fully furnished.  More details regarding what’s available or issued can be found under each housing description. Feel free to ask us questions about specific items if you do not see what items you might be looking for.

No. Our residences have a very strict no-pets policy.

All bookings made are non-cancellable and non-refundable. However, out of goodwill, Student Housing Works LLC will attempt to re-market the apartment should the party who booked a reservation decide to terminate the lease early.  If Student Housing Works LLC is able to find a replacement tenant, we can refund the prorated rental for the period covered by the replacement tenant. Registration and processing fees will not be refunded in any case.

If you have a concern about having to cancel due to visa issues or other issues (that are not within your control) kindly contact us with your concern before making the reservation. We will do our very best to accommodate you.

1. Explore our housing options on our website-we have many locations with varying price ranges
2. Decide on locations & then ‘check availability’ by filling out our online request form found at the bottom of each location’s page. 
3. Wait for our email confirmation. We will verify whether we have availability for your dates and provide you with an option to schedule a visit to our location(s).

4. Once we confirm availability, you will be emailed an invoice and rental agreement.
5. Make your payment to book your accommodation. Once your payment is received, we will send you a confirmation email with move-in instructions

Your first invoice will be sent to you soon after you book a reservation. Afterwards, you will be sent an invoice on the 20th of every month. That rent payment be for the following months rent. There is a late fee penalty for payments later than 5 days.

The first months rent. If you are moving in after the 15th, the following months rent will also be on the invoice. Also included will be the application fee, restoration fee, and refundable security deposit.

You can move out on any day of the month. We have a 30 day minimum reservation.

You can move in on any day of the month. You will only be charged for the number of days of the month that you stay for. Example: move in date May 20th = You will be billed only from the 20th- 31st.

Located on a quiet, quaint block of the Upper West Side Of Manhattan between 101st and 102nd street. Three short blocks to the 1-2-3 trains (subway). Broadway is two blocks away where all the shopping, cafes and restaurants are located.

Laundry machines are available in the building. They are operated by a card payment system.

There is a full-time security person behind the reception desk 24/7. Additionally, there are staff throughout the building at any given time. Visitors must first check in with reception.

Yes, These apartments are private unless you bring a roommate. We do not place you with roommates.

Utilities like electric, water, heat, A/C and WiFi are included at no extra cost.

Although you are welcome to bring pillows, pillow cases, sheets, and blankets; you can buy a new bedding package for $50. This is yours to keep.
